Weekly Timetable

Morning classes at CIE start at 9.00 am. All students break for coffee and lunch at the same time. Full time students finish their classes at 12:30pm. Afternoon classes – for intensive students - start at 1:30pm and finish at 3:45pm every day. We have a 15 minute break after every 60 minutes of study – with an hour for ‘lunch’.

Our teachers try to make the lessons as communicative as possible while also giving you a wide range of interactive as well as focused classroom activities. You will have the opportunity to practise grammatical structures and new vocabulary in a relaxed, supportive environment. You will receive personal attention in the form of tutorials. Although we follow course books, the teachers plan and adapt their lessons to suit the needs, interests and learning styles of their students, so they provide the right balance of skills, vocabulary and grammar. We expect our students to do homework every night.

All students have a progress test every unit to review and revise the grammar, vocabulary and skills learnt in their current Unit of the book. We also have a level test every 6 weeks, which is a further way to monitor students’ progress.
